The independent double wishbone front suspension with spiral springs and anti-roll bar guarantee unbeatable stability and driving comfort, while the leaf springs on the rear axle cope effortlessly with both full loads and off-road terrain.
The Torsen central differential offers safety even in the most extreme on- and off-road conditions.
Fullback is designed to provide the driver and passengers with the highest safety levels. The cab is fitted with 7 airbags (2 front, 2 side, 2 curtain and driver's knee airbag). What's more, in case of a front impact the pretensioners automatically tighten gradually, reducing impact with the opening of the front airbags.
Electronic Stability Control is a standard safety device on Fullback; the vehicle will follow the path set by the steering wheel, assisted by automatic wheel braking. It prevents the wheels from skidding and assures perfect traction in all conditions.
At speeds over 40 mph, the Lane Departure Warning System (LX trim only) emits a visual and audible warning that you are straying across the boundaries of your lane.
Maximum safety for towing, too; the Trailer Stability Assist guarantees perfect stability even when towing with automatic modulations of the engine power and braking force applied to each wheel if needed.
The Cruise Control with the variable speed limiter helps you not to exceed the pre-set speeds with an auditory signal.
Driver, passenger, side, window and driver’s knee airbags. In case of a collision, the pretensioners trigger to hold the passengers firmly in their seats.
Fullback Cross is equipped as standard with ESC which helps the driver hold the vehicle on course by operating the brakes of individual wheels.
The Fullback Cross comes with low-range gears and TSA. In case of trailer instability, TSA will engage the brakes.
Activated at over 40 mph, LDW triggers audible and visual warnings to alert the driver if the vehicle strays across the lane markings.
