The future of Fiat, It’s electrifying!

2022 is a landmark year for Fiat – as of the 1st of July, 100% of our range will be electrified. That means we’ll only be producing and selling hybrid or all-electric vehicles. Fiat has long been committed to shaping the future of sustainable mobility, and this decision is a huge step forward on that journey.

“We can now provide all our customers with a sustainable mobility solution, whatever their mobility needs, with simple technology and at an affordable cost. I am extremely proud of this for its consistency with our vision: ‘It’s only green when it’s green for all’.

And there’s more. Our journey toward sustainable mobility for all continues, with the aim to launch a new vehicle every year, starting as soon as in 2023. Each model will have an electric motor, to achieve a fully electric line-up from 2027.”

Our electrification journey began with the hybrid 500 and Panda, before the launch of our first fully electric car, the All-Electric 500. This multi award-winning model boasts zero emissions while driving and a range of up to 199 miles, the largest range of any compact city car on the market.

And now we’re pleased to announce two new hybrid cars: the Tipo and 500X. With the launch of these cars, our goal is to give our customers the same, exciting Fiat drive they love, but with lower emissions and less environmental impact. Just like our new Fiat 500X hybrid, which lowers CO2 emissions by up to 11% compared to the Fiat 500X’s 1.3-litre petrol engine, but with improved acceleration off the mark, with 0-62 mph in 9.4 seconds vs petrol engines 10.4 seconds.
